Workin Woman

My little momma (and yes ma'am is she little) is the sweetest little lady you ever did meet. She is just a little taller than me at 5'1 and even tinier than I am! She's been a yoga teacher my whole life so she lives eats and breathes 'namaste' aka "the vibrations of the universe. She has worked my whole life and even now as an older lady retired in her boyfriends house, she works her little booty off cleaning and getting everyones lives in order! Even though she lives on the opposite side of the country in Reston Virginia, she still helps me every day. She not only inspires me to work harder but lifts me up from my dramatic 19 year old break downs constantly! I love you mommmyyyy <3

"I'll take what I can get... I guess"

Girls, boys, boys, and girls make no sense. No sense at all. I will never understand how people are so okay with being treated so mediocre. There's multiple problems at play here. For starters, confidence plays the biggest role in peoples lives whether it's to do with what they wear, how they wear it, or the way they get ready for bed. A lot of people BELIEVE that they truly do only deserve mediocracy! This is not true! You deserve what you demand. Another problem, is that people don't know what it's like to be treated like a queen/king and they think that a text back every once in a while and a kiss here and there is the best they could ever dream of. This is also not true! You really like someone? Great, treat them like royalty! Only if they deserve it however. You watch yourself and see how much you care for someone and remember that if you're capable of treating someone that well, that some is capable of treating YOU that well. Other people might know your true potential better than you see in yourself but only you are capable of achieving it. Go out and make your life fucking amazing! Why not?

Sunny Dazeeee

Utah needs to make up its gosh-dang mind. I'm sitting on my balcony looking over the salt lake valley drinking mimosas with Cam and Hailie... and i'm mostly naked. It's in the upper 50's, but it feels like 80's! Not even a week ago I spent the day playing in the park with Bryson and his friends passing around different frisbees and balls. Later that evening, dumping snow. I'd like the blame the ground hog but the truth of the matter lies not in paws but in handprints. Footprints to be exact. The carbon footprint our species have left on the Earth is far more than a "myth" or a "conspiracy theory". It has become our reality. Global warming is a fact and is as real as the bubbles in my mimosa. Just not as tasty.

Foodie First

So i'm sitting in the cafe, steam is flowing up through my nostrils and over my face. My mouth is watering, but first, snap chat. I like to believe I have a pretty good following on social media. Maybe everyones just tapping through my stories as fast as they can to get rid of the notification but maybe.. just maybe.. they really like them! Everyday, like every one else, I eat food. Quite a bit, especially for how small I am. But today's yummy meal of the day was from one of my local Sugar Hood fav's, 'Pig & a Jelly Jar'. My mom and I went there all the time when we lived near by and today I got to take my boyfriend there for his first time! We had their famous Chicken and Waffles and Buffalo Sliders. SOoOooOooOOo Good!!! Video to come. I decided as I was filming what I was about to devour, that I should blog about all the hot food gems I find on my journey of eating myself to the death bed. So more to come on delicious, hidden food items and restaurants. Stay posted all one of you.

New Yearz Rezzz or nah

Utilize every excuse to make yourself a better person. Some people think New Years Resolutions are pointless because you follow them super hard for a week then give up and it's always repetitive and ineffective. So what? So you eat better for a couple weeks and actually find motivation for the first time in months? Great. Do it! I'm not religious but I participate in Lent every year. I've been vegan for a month, tried vegetarian living, bought gym passes I never use, given up soda and candy, and just about every basic diet or cleanse you can think of. And I would do them all again! Take every chance you can to reflect on your life and consider what you can improve on or what you have been doing really well. Humans always have a lot of room to grow and can always work harder to be better in every way. The only thing worse than being idle is being content with it.

My true love

Acting is my greatest passion. I wish to succeed in it more than anything in my life. I have a pit growing in my stomach, aching to be on the screen and to create. I know I am here on this Earth for a reason and it frustrates me feeling powerless. I know everything takes time and "the best things are right around the corner" but it feels so painfully close yet so far away. I feel powerful and passionate and right now I feel like the conveyor belt of college is restricting me from my full potential and personal destinations. When I was little I wanted to be famous. Now, I need to be famous. I am going to change the world, I can feel it flowing through every cell in my body. Right now, I can only affect a couple thousand followers and some friends but with the right support, I can really make a difference in the world and make my life, and so many others, worth living. Life is amazing, it's a gift we've all been given and it's most definitely not to be wasted.

GUESS WHO HAS A TWIN

I'll give you a hint, she's almost 5 foot, brown hair, and green eyes. MY SISTER! You thought I was gonna say myself, huh? Big sisters are good for many things... wardrobe discipline, sharing clothes, advice, music influence, FAKE ID'S, and just overall role model-ness! My sister Ruby Chase is a quadruple threat LA living hippie gypsy. We've been best friends my whole life and I'm not kidding when we say TWINS. Pics to come later <3 <3 <3

skinny little minnie

Sweet little girl in my french class,
You're beautiful! You have cute style, nice hair, and lovely features. You are smart and good in class. You look tired and sad though... I don't know if it's inspired by other things going on which has led to your diet or if your diet is what is contributing to your mood but either way, cheer up, buttercup. Your legs are thinner than my arms. That's not a problem, but your wellbeing is a priority! Skinny is beautiful, thick is beautiful, and you are beautiful! The best thing you can wear is confidence and the best look is healthy & happy. You might not like their jeans but everyone loves their smile.

Boyz

Boys are so silly. They think that the smallest act of kindness is you obsessing over them. The worst part is, girls start to BELIEVE that they are! It goes from a nice little "whats up babe" text, playful and meaningless to desperate well thought out replies hoping he will respond within an hour! No. Texting is petty and takes up time of my precious day so if you get a reply, hallelujah! If you don't? K join the club or find something more important to text me about. And if I EVER text you first? Boy, you better pull out your dictionary, read some books and come up with some quality text material if you want to stay out of the read-zone.

Fall Fashion

No. This can't be true. I must be dreaming. How the %#$* is it already time? Your alarm is ringing, and you reach out of your cozy covers to turn it off. As soon as your hand breaks through the air, its frozen. It has to be falling off right? How long does it take to get hypothermia? Two seconds with my arm out of the covers? Definitely. We've all been there, and some of us (the weaker majority) stay there for quite awhile before getting the courage to get ALL the way out of the bed. From this very first instant you think to yourself, "What in the world can I wear today? Do I have a marshmallow suit to burrito up in or do I freeze to death before I make a fashion fool of myself?" By this time, you've likely spent more time in bed than planned for and now only have twenty minutes to shower, get ready, AND pick out your clothes. Then again, you have to account for the extra five minutes you're about to spend under the hot water in the shower and in the steamy bathroom before your deadly walk to the closet.

15e Arrt.

This arrondissement is, for lack of a better word, ghetto. The buildings are worn down, old, and not classically made. The restaurants are old and missing the big

14e Arrt.

I really enjoyed this arrondissement! I explored this one by myself while the rest of the class was in French class. I tested out during the first week of the second class because it was very repetitive for me and I had improved on my French a lot by this time. It was very relaxing to walk around and go exactly where I wanted. After exploring the city both alone and with friends, I’ve really learned to enjoy exploring by myself. I fell in love with

13e Arrt.

The thirteenth arrondissement feels like a different city to me. The vibes and the look of it don’t exactly resemble the rest of Paris. The buildings are a little older and not as nice. There are a lot of business firms that line the streets creating a very mature

11e Arrt.

This arrondissement is home to my very favorite park, Parc de Bercy! This park was pleasingly surprising. When we first entered we were greeted by the Olympic

The ninth arrondissement is fashionable and definitely my style. There are classic French restaurants and shops lining the street with people packed in all of them. The vibe is very fast pace but still energetic and positive. There is also a very heshy part of

8e Arrt.

My favorite part of the eighth arrondissement was actually right outside the first district and Le Louvre. After just a short walk, you find the Place de la Concorde and its beautifully detailed mermaids spitting water in a lovely fountain display. There are multiple fountains and light poles all surrounding an unusual object: the Obelisk. The Obelisk was gifted to the French from Egypt viceroy.

2e Arrt.

The second arrondissement has a very business feel to it. The buildings in it are very classically constructed but with less flair and more stability. I’m not sure if it was the overcast weather or the lack of sleep, but it had a very solemn yet mature feel. It took us three days to even find it. I am determined it is only about 3 square buildings wide.  By the time we actually found it, we walked half a block and were already in another district.

7e Arrt.

The seventh district is definitely one of the most famous—and expensive—districts in Paris because of the world famous Eiffel Tower. The first time I saw the Eiffel Tower was just around the corner from the Bir Hakeim metro. I stopped right in my steps in awe. I had dreamt of this day for as long as I can remember and finally it was real life. I was looking at the real Eiffel Tower. Not posters in my friend’s bedrooms or scenes from movies but the real 301 meter high Eiffel Tower.

The sixth district is collectively one of the favorites among our study abroad class. I was very excited to see it for myself! As soon as I found myself within the boundaries… I also found myself inside Sephora. Although it is definitely not Paris specific, the “soldes” inside were!
